摘要：

Four miniaturized microstrip antennas with slots are discussed. It is proved that the four designs of slot-coupled patches lead to the size reduction of 20%, 22%, 33% and 38% separately compared with conventional types, but at the same time, the other characteristics of the radiation are to some extent deteriorated such as gain, band width, and lobe width. And the penetrating analysis on how the shapes of the slots influence the characters of antenna is summarized as well.
