摘要
Mesoporous MCM-48 was synthesized and characterized by powder x-ray diffraction (XRD) and nitrogen physisorption methods. The synthesized MCM-48 was investigated as adsorbents for Pb(II) in aqueous solutions. The influence of mass of MCM-48, pH of the solution, contact time, and initial Pb(II) solution concentration was investigated. The adsorption kinetics and equilibrium of Pb(II) on MCM-48 were studied and the activation energy value was calculated. The results showed the process conformed to pseudo-second-order equation, and the intraparticle diffusion of Pb(II) on MCM-48 was the main rate-limiting step, but the external diffusion could not be ignored. The Langmuir and Freundlich models were used to simulate the adsorption equilibrium and the results indicated that Langmuir model fit the experiment data better than the Freundlich model. In addition, thermodynamic parameters such as Delta H, Delta S, and Delta G were calculated. The adsorption process was endothermic, and entropy increased and spontaneous. [GRAPHICS]
