An interpretation of the solute-solvent interactions in supercritical binary fluids as monitored by interaction-induced Raman light scattering

摘要
Recent results from our laboratory have strongly indicated that interaction-induced Raman spectroscopy is an important tool for analyzing the local interactions between solute and solvent in supercritical binary mixtures. Moreover, the use of integral equations (as well as molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo simulations) to interpret the Raman data is essential. Some of these results have recently been reported, but we now offer additional data as well as a more detailed discussion of how the integral equations results are able to interpret the Raman data, In other words, this paper offers a better understanding the physical state of the binary solutions as a function of density.
