ANALYSIS ON THE DEVELOPMENT AND CHARACTERISTICS OF INDUSTRIAL ECONOMY UNDER THE BACKGROUND OF LOW CARBON ECONOMY

Low carbon industrial economy is a kind of industrial economy which can reduce carbon emissions as much as possible, and it is a kind of economic development thought in line with the concept of sustainable development. On the basis of summarising the law of industrial economic development, this paper concludes the internal mechanism among industrial development, industrial structure upgrading and low-carbon economy. On this basis, the panel Simultaneous equation empirical model (SEM) is constructed. Taking the provincial data of China as the sample, the regression analysis is carried out on the whole country, the East, the middle and the west, respectively. The results show that there is a mutual promotion between industrial development and industrial structure upgrading, and their impact on low-carbon economy is more and more obvious. The rapid development of industry plays an important role in driving the upgrading of industrial structure, but the impact of industry on low-carbon economy is less than that of industrial structure upgrading. The conclusion of this paper has a certain reference value for the research of industrial economic development under the background of low-carbon economy.
