摘要
In this work we describe the use of polymorphisms of nuclear DNA in a paternity investigation in which only skeletal remains of the father were available, with a postmortem interval of 12 years. Typing data obtained using the AmpFISTR Profiler Plus kit (PE/AB) were found to be genetic compatible with data generated from a blood sample provided by a presumed daughter of the deceased. The biostatistical calculation of paternity gave a probability value of 99.996 %.
