Microwave amplification in a maser on the anomalous Doppler effect with a nonlinear slow-wave structure

摘要：
A maser is considered with a strip electron beam and a planar slow-wave structure, partially filled with a Kerr-type dielectric material. It is shown that, under optimum conditions, the efficiency of an amplifier on the anomalous Doppler effect may be increased substantially.
