From threshold photoemission measurements on Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+delta single crystals taken at temperatures above and below T-c we derive the temperature dependence of the width of the superconducting energy gap. By different methods of data analysis, we obtain the relative and absolute values of the gap energy width. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
