摘要
A high-accuracy fiber-optic Michelson accelerometer based on frequency modulation is demonstrated and a new type of sensing elements is designed in this letter. The interference optical waves are modulated and demodulated. In theory, the sensitivity of the accelerometer goes up with the increase of frequency. The experimental results demonstrate that when the modulation frequency increases from 200 to 800 Hz, the sensitivity increases from 0.188 to 0.751 rad/g and the average error of acceleration measurement is similar to 1%.
