摘要
A ceramic lined composite steel pipe was prepared by combustion synthesis. A simple structural model was built to calculate its thermal stress distribution by the finite element method. The calculation results showed that the residual stress was high. The radial stress in the ceramic coating and in the steel pipe is a compression stress. The axial stress and circumferential stress in ceramic coating are a compression stress while they are a tensile stress in the steel pipe. The distribution characteristics of the residual stress led to strong mechanical bond between the ceramic coating and the steel pipe.
