摘要
A more efficacious vaccine has two opposing effects, namely, the direct effect and the indirect effect, on each individual's incentive to vaccinate. Technological improvements in vaccine efficacy may thus reduce each individual's incentive to vaccinate. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
