摘要：

A collection of a gelatinized discomycete-like fungus associated with other fungi on decorticated wood of Rhododendron sp. from southwestern China is studied in detail. Morphological features indicate that it is a new species of the genus Agyrium. Distinctions between the Yunnan fungus and the currently accepted species of the genus, Agyrium rufum, are discussed.
