摘要
Recent advances in the design of enhanced high-resolution sensors have played a crucial role for real-time and non-contact monitoring in biological and industrial applications. Active sensors improve the sensitivity of traditional sensors by including an active feedback to compensate the losses in a core passive resonator. This paper presents a new perspective for active sensors design by considering them as a complete feedback system. The performance of the closed-loop active sensor has been estimated from open-loop measurements. A state-of-the-art active sensor has been manufactured and transmission measurements for different materials under test (MUT) have been carried out to validate its sensing capability.
