Sub-Doppler ro-vibrational spectra of the B-1 Pi(u) <- X-1 Sigma(+)(g) system of the Cs-2 molecule have been measured in the region of 12800-13200 cm(-1) using a polarization spectroscopic technique. A total of 18000 lines have been assigned in 85 bands. Dunham coefficients Y-00 - Y-30, Y-01(e) - Y-21(e), Y-01(f) - Y-21(f), Y-02(e) - Y-22(e), Y-02(f) - Y-22(f), and Y-03 - Y-13 of the B state have been determined within a standard deviation of sigma = 0.0016 cm(-1). The RKR potential of the B-1 Pi(u) state has been calculated from nu' = 0 to nu' = 12. (C) 2009 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
