摘要
The objective of this work is to characterise the detection and diagnostic of ball bearing, failures through joint time-frequency analysis to support predictive maintenance. The measured signals are analysed by different techniques based in time or frequency domain and by the proposed methods using time-frequency representations obtained by Pseudo-Wigner-Ville Distribution (PWVD). Various stages of ball bearing failures were artificially produced and the experimental data have confirmed that the PWVD is very efficient compared with the conventional methods. The validation of the mathematical models is carried using the measured signals from faults produced on the stationary outer race of ball bearings.
