APPLICATION OF 12-HETEROPOLYACIDS OF MOLYBDENUM AND TUNGSTEN ([Smim]3[PMoW3O24]) IN EPOXIDATION OF OLEFINS

摘要
A new Mo-W mixed-coordinated polyoxometalate, 3-(1-hepty1-3-methyl-imidazolium) heteropolyoxomolybdotungstates [Smim](3)[PMoW3O24] was synthesised and characterised. Experiment shows that it has good catalytic effect with cyclooctene in the ionic liquid. The yields are more than 99% after 40 min when using anhydrous urea hydrogen peroxide adduct (UHP) as oxidant. The system also has some catalytic effect on the epoxidation of other olefins.
