摘要
The Maslach Burnout Inventory was shortened and translated into German for use with university students. The three factorial structures were tested using data collected from 9,663 students from various backgrounds. The factorial structures were then confirmed and the internal consistencies of the three burnout dimensions were classified as reliable. The convergent validity was proven successful upon reviewing the three dimensions with similar constructs. Among students who demonstrated having depressive symptoms, significant differences were found in all three burnout dimensions in contrast to those students without symptoms. The results of the analysis argue for the applicability of the German Short Version of the Maslach Burnout Inventory, especially for multithematic surveys.
