摘要
This paper presents the results of a research about the performance of self-compacting concretes (SCC) with the incorporation of a residue of masonry (RM), extracted from a construction and demolition waste (CDW). Portland cement was substituted by RM in different percentages such as 0, 25 and 50% (vol.). The rheology properties of SCC were tested thorough the slump-flow, V-funnel and L-box. In hardened state, the samples of SCC were immersed into solutions of 5% (w/w) sodium sulphate (Na2SO4) and magnesium sulphate (MgSO4). Also, the changing in mass, the loss of mechanical strengths and the lineal expansion were evaluated. All the mixes of SCC presented an adequate filling ability, passing ability and segregation resistance. The mixes with RM inmersed in the sulfate solutions showed adequate performance due to the lower formation of expansive compounds as ettringite and gypsum compared with SCC Control, which was reflected in a change of lengths, loss of mass and compressive strength.
