The DVI mode of cardiac pacing: A second coming?

摘要：
Conventional dual-chamber pacemakers are being increasingly used in an "off-label" fashion with their shortest arrioventricular delay (0 to 30 ms) for ventricular resynchronization in patients with congestive heart failure, intraventricular conduction delay, and permanent atrial fibrillation. Programming the device to the DVI mode provides optimal pacing function when the atrial port is connected to the left ventricular lead.
