摘要
We performed a detailed investigation of the influence of Yb3+ and Tm3+ ions concentration on the structural and optical properties of NaGdF4 nanocrystals. XRD and TEM allowed us to identify a crystal phase and measure the diameter of synthesized nanocrystals. The results have shown that crystal phase and size were conserved for various Tm3+ doping. However, for different Yb3+ ions concentration, NCs diameter varied from 20 to 100 nm. Based on the optical investigations (both in visible and NIR range), we determined the optimum doping conditions for efficient emission from (1)G(4) and D-1(2) states, which correspond to green/red and blue emission, respectively.
