Kinetometrics is a concept of increasing interest to kinetic-based determinations as a result of dynamic systems frequently exhibiting won-linear relationships that can readily be modelled with computational aids (mathematical algorithms), Curve-fitting and related algorithms have proved useful ist both error-compensated methods (which effectively address the variability of kinetic data arising from their transient nature) and in simultaneous kinetic determinations. This article discusses the usefulness of different kinetometric approaches currently available, viz. Kalman filtering, multivariate (multiwavelength) calibration methods and artificial neural networks.
