Pulsed laser heating of surfaces: Nanosecond timescale temperature measurement using black body radiation

摘要
The temporal evolution of a laser heated surface is measured via detection of the black body radiation on a nanosecond timescale. The resulting temperature transient is described well by a numerical solution of the heat conduction equation. The method presented is a direct relatively inexpensive way of obtaining ultrafast non-contact temperature measurements.
