摘要
A new ecologically pure method for preparing a TiC - WC solid solution in hydrogen containing an equilibrium amount of methane is described. The suggested method provides the requisite content of carbon in TiC - WC with the desired accuracy. The use of a methane - hydrogen medium makes it possible to obtain a solid solution without using carbon black, which eliminates penetration of harmful impurities contained in carbon black into the solid solution; the properties of the hard alloys are improved, and the contamination of the ambient is prevented. An optimum variant for obtaining a TiC - WC solid solution in a methane - hydrogen medium is suggested.
