摘要：
4-(4-{5-[(Dibenzylcarbamoyl)-methyl]-2-heptyl-4-oxo-thiazolidin-3-yl}-butyl)-benzoic acid is a new type of insulin sensitizing agent, which can be synthesized from 4-iodobenzoatic acid as a starting material by eight-step of reactions. The synthetic methods of tert-butyl 4-iodobenzoate were also investigated.
