摘要
Using two fiber Bragg gratings (FBG) in serial connection and WDM technique, multipoint detection of an acoustic field in water is demonstrated after having measured the spatial resolving power of an FBG underwater acoustic sensor. An acoustic sensor with a 24 mm long FBG is found to have the spatial resolution on the order of 1 mm. Two FBGs in the WDM sensor work independently without interfering each other and the sensor provides us with real-time detection of the amplitudes and phases of the acoustic field at different points in water.
