Local order in LiNbO3 in the paraelectric and molten states

摘要
A study of LiNbO3 through the ferroelectric-paraelectric and melting transitions is reported, mainly by Raman scattering under microscope. This allowed to evidence unexpected features in the liquid phase, and more precisely the formation of solid inclusions (approximate to50mum) which look to increase in number upon heating. So large inclusions have never been reported in this phase and results of thermal analysis, X-Ray and SEM characterizations are presented here.
