摘要
Sleep plays an important role in both physical and mental health. One of its parts is also dreaming. It is possible that dreaming helps us with memory consolidation, coping with experiences, and more. But the exact meaning of dreaming has not yet been described. If we are able to identify the time when dreaming occurs, then the electrical activity of the brain could explain the processes that are connected with dreaming and their effect on the body. In this study, we propose an approach to identify dreaming using short event analysis of microstates and its classification by the k-NN method.
