Energy-loss and straggling of molecular ions moving in solids

摘要
On the basis of the wave packet model, the electronic stopping power and the straggling were investigated for H-2(+), H-3(+), 2H(+), and 3H(+) ions penetrating C and Ag foils with energy ranging from 1 keV/amu to 10 MeV/amu. Here the molecular orientations and the bound electon distribution are taken into account. The calculated results are summarized in terms of the effective charge.
