摘要
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a technique that provides high data rate communications, but it is sensitive to the carrier frequency offset (CFO) caused by the misalignment in carrier frequencies between transmitter and receiver, which results in Inter-Carrier Interference (ICI) among the sub-carriers and degrades the Carrier-to-Interference Ratio (CIR). In this paper, we propose a novel bandwidth efficient coded OFDM system, which not only can reduce the ICI due to the CFO, but also can improve the bandwidth efficiency, the power efficiency and the Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) compared with the previous schemes. Its performance is evaluated by both theoretic analysis and simulations in the presence of the CFO impairments. The theoretic analysis shows that the bandwidth efficiency, the power efficiency and the PAPR can be improved in the proposed coded OFDM system. The simulation results show that the proposed system outperforms over a conventional OFDM system when the ICI is significant.
