α+12C rotational bands in 16O

摘要
The total quantum number N of the alpha+C-12 rotational bands in O-16 is determined by a study of alpha+C-12 elastic scattering. The 8(+) and 9(-) states are found around the excitation energy E-x = 30 MeV and they are the member of the known rotational bands. At the same time, the 0(2)(+) state (E-x = 6.05 MeV) is found to be dominated by N = 8.
