摘要
The aim of present research was to investigate osseointegration dental implants with micro-arc oxidized (MAO) and acid-etched (SLA) surface modifications. Three-dimensional (3D) mandible models were reconstructed by computer tomography to simulate the clinical procedure. The treated layer of dental implants is an important factor in clinical applications. Several studies have investigated finite element models for dental implants; however, few have examined a model for devices with treated layers. The results revealed that stress was significantly decreased when implants with nanostructured MAO and SLA thin films were used. Moreover, the SLA-treated group demonstrated a relatively small stress, which was 8.49% lower compared with that of the control group. The present research stated that the novel nanostructured thin film on dental implants would be an effective means of improving performance, reducing abnormal stress, and uniformly distributing stress in the mandible.
