摘要
Remanufacturing is the profitable end of life strategy among all other options. Particular product is suitable for the remanufacturing or not is depends on the decisions taken in the early phase of the design process. These decisions may put positive or negative impact over the remanufacturing process. Understanding the relationship and the dependency between the product design and development and the remanufacturing will be the effective approach. Design for remanufacturing facilities the designer to take optimum decisions to improve the efficiency of remanufacturing considering the environmental and economical viability. The aim of this paper is to understand the concept of Design for remanufacturing as well as the different methods and tools developed in this area with the key issues and problems.
