摘要
Increased prior cold work accelerates the recrystallisation kinetics of B2 ordered Fe-25.2at%Al at 600 and 700 degreesC with nucleation occurring heterogeneously at grain boundaries leading to an Avrami exponent of 0.5 and an activation energy of similar to290 kJ/mol. Recrystallisation in the D0(3) ordered state at 500 degreesC is greatly retarded compared with the B2 ordered state. (C) 2004 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
