Optimizational Luminous Properties of Pr3+ Doped Na5Lu9F32 Single Crystals

摘要
The growth of Pr-3 doped Na-5 Lu-9 F-32 single crystals by Bridgman method was reported. The absorption spectra, fluorescence spectra, and fluorescence decay curves of Pr-3-doped Na-5 Lu-9 F-32 single crystals were studied systematically. Judd-Ofelt analysis performed on the obtained crystal reveals that the Pr-3 ions are exposed to a high symmetric environment with strong degree covalency of Pr-F bond. The sharp and strong emission bands centered at 482, 523 and 605 nm were observed under the excitation of 440 nm light. The maximum emission intensity was obtained when the concentration of Pr-3 reached to similar to 0.5 mol%. Temperature dependent measurement suggests that the green emission is less affected by temperature than the blue and red emission.
