摘要
To investigate differences and similarities in the modeling and simulation approaches of different domain experts, the same logistics simulation problem has been given to two individually operating groups of students from different domains. The case study presented in this paper demonstrates significantly different ways to approach the simulation problem leading to different representations in the simulation model as well as different efforts to be spent on model implementation. Although simulation results are finally quite similar this case study is again an impressive plea for interdisciplinary collaboration, especially when dealing with more complex simulation problems.
