Checklist, new species and key to the cicadas of Cuba (Hemiptera, Cicadoidea, Cicadidae)

The Cuban cicada fauna is determined. Herrera infuscata Sanborn sp. n. is described from the Isle of Youth and represents the first member of the subfamily Cicadettinae in Cuba. Diceroprocta obscurior Davis stat. n. is elevated to species rank. A total of 12 species, five genera, four tribes, and two subfamilies comprise the Cuban cicada fauna. A key to the cicadas of Cuba is provided.
