摘要
Epilepsy is a common brain disease that has serious negative effects on patients. Electroencephalogram (EEG) is widely used for detecting epileptic signal. Because epilepsy EEG data set is generally small, in this paper, we use a shallow convolutional neural network (CNN) to classify the raw data. To improve the performance of the model, we propose a layer-wise pre-training mechanism. In our experiment, we validate the effectiveness of the method on the public epilepsy EEG data set provided by University of Bonn.
