摘要
Absorption of H2S into aqueous solutions, were carried out in an agitated batch reactor through a flat gas liquid interface. The liquid phase mass transfer coefficients were correlated by the Gilliland-Sherwood's equation where the Sherwood number was varied as the Re-0.39 and as the Sc-0.15 in 0.01 M Fe-2 (SO4)(3) System. In the H2S-pure water system, the liquid phase mass transfer coefficient varied according to the D-A(1.15), hence it was assumed that there is an immobilized liquid film in the liquid side of gas-liquid interface. The ratio of k(LA)/k'(LA) was always larger than 1. The mass transfer rates were increased when the temperature and the stirring speed decreased.
