摘要
Central serous chorioretinopathy to date is diagnosed by biomicroscopy and fluorescein angiography. OCT is a technique, which uses coherent light to measure intraocular zones of reflectivity with a high optical resolution of 10x70 mu m and is more sensitive than biomicroscopy. We have evaluated OCT images of the central fundus regions in 9 patients suffering from central serous chorioretinopathy. It was feasible to prove the absence of retinal pigment epithelial detachment, the presence of neuroretinal thickening and to quantify the amount of subretinal fluid by OCT.
