摘要
A new technique is introduced, Histogram of oriented gradient for the vehicle logo detection. The proposed technique plays an important role for the authentication of vehicles manufacturing companies. In this techniques the HOG descriptor is used to build a feature vector which is used for logo detection. Statistical classifiers based on Euclidean distance are used. It is also proposed to use SVM (Support Vector Machine). The results obtained by this technique are highly precise and accurate.
