Thermoelectric power studies of copper precipitation in a new interstitial-free steel

摘要
Copper precipitation has been tracked through thermoelectric power measurement in a copper-containing interstitial-free steel. The amount of copper in solid solution and the nature of the precipitates modify the thermoelectric power of ferrite. The change in thermoelectric power due to-different substitutional alloying elements in solution in ferrite suggests a dependence on the atomic size difference of the element with iron.
