A web-based information system for public health

In the beginning of this paper, a web application development context is described to implement an analysis laboratory web page for an agriculture ministry organization. Safety and hygiene matters are introduced as actual concerns for public health and are defined generally. The emotional appealing interaction between users and web applications and information systems is also contextualized. The project specification, database physical model, arquitecture and chosen technologies are then described in implementation and finally, some conclusions are taken.
