摘要
In this paper, an influence of amplitude limiter of combined signals of multi-user in the base station of Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (W-CDMA) system is described. The transmission performances of those under Rayleigh fading and interference from adjacent 6 cells environment are evaluated by computer simulation; the tool of its simulation is MATLAB software. The relationship between limiter level and capacity degradation has been clarified. Furthermore, it has been shown that the introduction of limiter is effective to reduce the dynamic range of the power amplifier. The effect of Forward Error Correction (FEC) is also described The result shows that it is effective to use FEC in compensating the degradation with amplitude limiter.
