摘要
We have studied the vortex dynamics in intrinsic Josephson junctions in mesa-shaped Bi2Sr2CaCu2Oy single crystals. By applying magnetic fields parallel to the copper oxide layers of the junctions, Josephson vortex-few branches were observed in addition to multiple resistive branches on the I-V characteristics. From the field dependence of the maximum Row voltage, the Row velocity of the vortices was estimated to be similar to 3 x 10(6) m/s at 4.2 K, which is close to that of the highest-velocity mode of the electromagnetic wave in them. On the other hand, at 77 K, the velocity decreased from the highest to the lowest with an increase in the number of junctions in the mesas.
