摘要
We are developing transurethral and interstitial ultrasound applicators for the local control of prostate cancer and BPH. The ultrasound energy will be delivered under magnetic resonance imaging guidance because it can provide exquisite temperature mapping capability. The purpose of this work was to evaluate MR thermometry during high intensity ultrasound ablation of ten canine prostates.
