Three-component interpolymer complexes with monobasic low-molecular-mass mediators

The specific features of formation and the properties of three-component interpolymer complexes with a low-molecular-mass mediator, where the polymer components are two polyacids and the mediator is a diphilic monobasic heterocyclic compound (4-vinylpyridine or 2-methyl-5-vinylpyridine) are considered. These polycomplexes are stabilized by a system of ionic bonds between the mediator and polyelectrolyte and by hydrophobic interaction between the mediator molecules. It is suggested that the mediator molecules are not subject to acquire any ordered arrangement in these complexes.
