摘要
A wideband circularly polarized millimeter wave antenna with high gain is proposed in this paper. The antenna consists of a linearly polarized antenna source and a dielectric polarizer. The linearly polarized electromagnetic wave is transformed into circularly polarized electromagnetic wave by dielectric polarizer. Moreover, due to the specific structure of polarizer, the gain of antenna can be improved. The polarizer can adopt low-cost and easy processing printed circuit board technology (PCB), which is conducive to mass production and integration. It is suitable for millimeter wave antenna applications. The simulation results show that the antenna has wide impedance bandwidth 52% and axial ratio bandwidth 26.87%. The gain of the antenna can reach 17.15 dBic.
