An unprecedented cross-coupling reaction of potassium allyltrifluoroborates and aryl halides to the corresponding trans-beta-methylstyrenes in the presence of PdCl2(d(t)bpf) catalyst under microwave heating was developed. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
