摘要
A class of solutions to the linear wave equation with three spatial variables of the form g(x, y, z, t)f(theta(x, y, z, t)), where f(theta) is an arbitrary function of one variable, is presented. The functions a and g of time and all space variables are described in explicit form. Particular solutions from this new class have been considered earlier when describing the wave fields of sub- and superluminal sources. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
