摘要
Migrant workers' return migration behavior has become one problem drawing much focus for many scholars. Based on the survey data of migrant workers' return migration in Liaoning province, this research finds out that the return migration probability for the female is much higher compared with the male, married persons and the older ones by building one econometric model on migrant workers' return migration and having an empirical analysis on the influencing factors for return migration; the stronger of their local social relations, the greater for their return migration tension. Migrant workers' accumulative working time in city, occupational mobility frequency, training in the process of working and living pattern play a strong explanatory function on their return migration determinants. Discrimination suffered for migrant workers in urban life has a negative effect on their decision of staying in city and working life. However, the variables, such as migrant workers' educational degree, the number of old people and children at home, reasons for getting into city, migration distance, wage arrears, no work for 3 months and discrimination in the work, etc., have no significant influence.
