INCUNABULA IN THE LIBRARY OF THE CHAPTER OF LITOMERICE

With the recent discovery of new firstprint came the decision of revision the collection of incunabula of Library of the Chapter of Litomefice. Thanks to the known genesis and evolution of this library, it was possible to show at least to a certain degree those incunabula in the context of the library. The firstprints were based on the presence or in opposite the lack of presence of coat of white paint on the shelfback divided into two subclasses and described more closely after that was shown the collection of incunabula as whole. The text is brought to the closure by probably the most important part - the list of spoken incunabula with reference to some of the greatest catalogues in the present: the Incunabula Short Title Catalgue (ISTC), the Gesamtkatalog der Wiegendrucke (GW) and the catalogue of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (BSB).
